Throughout our cats' first two years of rampaging nearly a dozen rods and lures, the Forever Stick seems to be living up to its name. The rod has never been a problem with other brands, but as with all things craft—the strength lies in the joints and connections. I do not suspect I'll ever be replacing the rod due to its build quality, flexibility, and comfortable cork handle, lest I misplace it entirely. I was originally skeptical of the toys, but my two have taken a surprising liking to the ribbon and feather-thing. The key is replacement. The toys and strings will wear, but the beauty is being able to swap these key components for when they fail—not if.
The price may sound steep at first, but if you care about sustainable play-time, I really don't see a downside at all. Plus, it works with the dozens of other lures we've accumulated since we've adopted the cat-fishing habit.
I agree the forever stick is sturdy.... But my kitty chewed through all the string/lines. I bought the extra pack of different ones.

When we adopted our first kitten several months ago, we immediately started looking for the best toys for him, as all new cat owners do. The Forever Stick immediately caught our eyes, but we were hesitant to get it because of the price compared to other cat wands. However, after being disappointed by a couple different wands that were either too short to be usable or broken after a few weeks, we finally decided to splurge...
And it was 100% worth it! From the cork handle to the metal tip, it just screams quality. The combined length of the wand and string makes it perfect for darting around furniture without having to move. The swivel tip makes it so the string rarely gets tangled, even with our kitten who loves to play tug-of-war. Also, the text on the handle hasn't worn off, even after a month of use. It's inconsequential to it's usage, but I think it shows how much care was put into the design, even down to the smallest details.
The Forever Prey is probably my favorite part of the kit. Being able to swap to new feathers (or reuse broken ones) on the fly means you never have to worry about your cat becoming disinterested when the feathers inevitably break off. The Rainbow Ribbons also provide a nice alternate style of play, and you can quickly swap between the two with the clasp. My one criticism is that the clasp is pretty difficult to open at first, but you'll get used to it. We've never had a toy detach during play, though, so I assume it's like that for a reason.
Our kitten simply can't get enough of it! When we go to grab it off the wall, he is immediately engaged and makes happy chirps. When we aren't using it, he constantly jumps at it and tries to get it off the wall.
There were some missing items in our order. I contacted Anton and he quickly shipped out the missing stuff and some extras. He was super nice and gave us new ideas for playing with our kitten. He clearly cares a lot about his products, his customers, and their cats. I definitely recommend Repounce, and can't wait to see what other toys they develop!
