Forever Prey™ - The World's First Refillable Feather Toy

Havent used it yet but kitties interest is peeked.

As a professional cat sitter, I’ve tried countless wand toys over the years with both my own cats and my cat clients, and the Forever Stick truly stands out. It’s extremely durable, well made, and versatile since you can easily switch out different strings and toy attachments to keep cats engaged and entertained. The movement is fantastic, and my own cats are absolutely obsessed with it — I actually have to hide it from them because they get so excited when they see it come out.

I bought the ultimate playtime bundle but each part included is so thoughtfully designed and well crafted that they all deserve separate reviews - so far the forever prey has been my personal favorite because it has held up successfully for every customization idea I've come up with to try on it this far. My foster cats love this attachment, but I love it more simply because every time I've come up with a new 'what it's idea it has allowed for flawless execution of my ideas and has allowed my ideas to entertain my foster cats *most* of the times!

The whole concept of the forever play toy is what convinced me to splurge on a bundle that had all of the repounce products. My foster cat, Bennie, LOVES the go cat purr-peller and I was not loving how frequently I had to keep replacing it everytime he ripped a feather out and having 2 rather than 3 feathers immediately made the toy unworthy of his interest. The forever prey has been the perfect solution to this problem and since the bundle came with multiples of it I was able to experiment with it to see if it would hold up to having more than just a single feather in each slot. So far I have found that: 1. it will fit any feather you have, not just the ones it comes with - so you can repurpose old feathers that have been ripped out of other cat toys and you can use feathers from wild or pet birds; you can also use craft store feathers but I personally wouldn't recommend it because those ones shed way too much, are often flimsy, can be colored with harmful dyes, and are likely not humanely sourced. 2. You can put multiple feathers in each slot! 3. You can insert the feathers so that they can be somewhat easily pulled out by your cat if they make the effort to do so - creating the same concept as magnetic wand attachments or pull apart toys that are designed to come apart so your cat gets the satisfaction of being able to break off a piece of their 'prey' that they can run off with, great for building confidence in shy and insecure cats (I don't recommend this though for cats that persistently try to actually swallow pieces of toys they break off) 4. You can tie ribbons onto the slots and still fit feathers into the slots so it will appeal to multiple cats if you have a cat that only has interest in ribbon/string toys and a cat that only has interest in feathery toys that mimic real prey. 5. Attaching the forever prey to a doorframe mounted dangling string or just attaching it to a sturdy string (like the nylon strings offered for sale by repounce!) and looping it around a cat tree post can create endless possibilities for safe and engaging independent play - my foster cats love it when I have it dangling near my wall vents so that everytime the AC turns on it starts to blow the toy around (I live in an old home with vents near or on the floor but I'm sure vents near the ceiling in newer built homes would have strong enough airflow to move a well placed strings too!)

I am overdue for a trip to my local craft store to see what else I can use to modify and enhance toys for my foster cats, but I will certainly be updating this review with successful ways this toy can be used once I get more supplies! That being said, this toy really is perfect as is, it is the perfected and refillable version of purr-peller cat wand attachments. If you have a cat that fancies toys that can mimic the flight of birds or just any feather toy in general they will love the forever prey!

I’ve never seen a product like the Forever Prey, let alone imagined something like this could exist! I’ve spent so much on replacing feather toys over time, but with this design, I can simply replace the feathers when they’re worn out. It’s not only more affordable, but it’s also much more sustainable.

What I really love is the versatility of the Forever Prey. My cats enjoy it with and without the feathers, and even love playing with it both attached and unattached to the Forever Stick. This means all four of my cats can play with it in their own way, which is rare when it comes to a single toy! They all have different preferences, and this toy manages to keep them all entertained and engaged.

It’s quickly become their absolute favorite toy, and they play with it daily! I’m so impressed with how well it’s captured their attention and how durable it is. Repounce has really outdone themselves with this one!
