Forever Stick™ - The Unbreakable Cat Wand

I bought the ultimate playtime bundle but each part included is so thoughtfully designed and well crafted that they all deserve separate reviews.

This forever stick is so nice that when I was showing it off to my mom she immediately 'suggested' that for her Christmas present I buy her one of these (which I will absolutely be doing because her cat toy collection desperately needs an upgrade).

The forever stick has the perfect amount of bounce to it like the go cat da bird wands, but unlike the go cat wand, it will survive multiple daily play sessions with very large cats who are in peak physical shape. I currently have two very tall, strong, and energetic foster cats whom I sincerely believe murdered the Energizer bunny to absorb it's life force and strength. But since I've had this wand both of my fosters have been sound asleep before 10pm every night (and I have finally been able to get more than 4 straight hours of sleep) because this wand was designed to survive and enhance playtime with cats like my fosters - the attached picture is of Bennie who was so soundly asleep at 9:40pm that I was able to stage a photo of him with the forever stick! I will admit though that the reason I am able to get most of their energy levels depleted before 10pm is 1000% thanks to the fact that this wand is easy and comfortable to hold onto for an extended amount of time. I have advanced stage rheumatoid arthritis and no words that I have in my vocabulary can properly describe how grateful I am to have found a cat wand toy that is designed for both cat enjoyment and for human comfort. I am only 32 years old so it Is embarrassing that I was constantly being bested by a cat when wand playtime turned into a tug of war game. The cork handle on this forever stick is PERFECT for anyone with limited grip strength and/or limited joint function - I promise you that this wand will be a game changer for you! And if you are more physically abled than I am yet are right or left handed only, making playing with 2 wands and 2+ cats at the same time nearly impossible due to not being coordinated enough with your non dominant hand this wand will change your life. I am also right hand dominant but the forever stick is so easily controlled that I feel like a professional marching band flag twirler when I use this wand with my left hand. I used to live in constant fear that if I used my left hand with wand toys I would accidentally fling the whole toy into a cats face, likely poking them in the eye and ruining their eyesight for the rest of their life. Now I am able to safely a successfully entertain and wear out the energy of 2+ cats at the same time when using two of these wands at the same time!

I have bought and tried every wand toy variation except for the mad cat brand wands that have a squiggly/s shaped tip and no other wand has the perfect balance of grip ability, light weight, and sturdiness that the forever stick does. The only cons I can find with the forever stick are: 1. The attachment clip which has a safety pin-like closure is not arthritis friendly although it is much easier to open and close than the clips on go cat or older versions of the cat lures wands. But this is easily resolved by attaching a lanyard clip to use for changing out attachments (Amazon has a 100 pack of .59inch ones for less than $6 that are perfect for use with cat toy wands!) and 2. After having used the forever stick wand you may experience a complete lack of desire, or even feelings of disdain about using any other cat wand toy again!

Very well constructed, durable materials, and easy to handle. The weight distribution is just right and gives good control over the feather and it has a lot of range. I wish it had some white feather options because the dark feathers blend into my rug and floor.

I’ve been a cat owner all my life and have been through a bunch of flimsy, poorly designed play wands. Finally somebody got it right. This wand is resilient and sturdy, feels great in the hand. The design allows you to replace worn parts and exchange toys. Gotta say the customer service was stellar, too.

Bought the Playtime Starter Kit for my 1-year-old and 8-year-old furballs who love to play. The kitten is absolutely in love and has even started begging for playtime when I get home from work. They LOVE the medium sized ribbon attachment. The feather attachment on a string is their second favorite. My mom is ordering a kit for her kitty, too, after seeing how much fun my boys had with it. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that the hooks where you attach the different toys are pretty hard to get open if you have delicate or weak hands. It took me a good few minutes just to get the hook undone, but at least that means it won’t easily come undone during playtime. I also like the adhesive pieces that come with the wands so you can hang them up when not in use. I’ve put mine on the inside of our coat closet because otherwise the kitten tries to attack it and drag it around the house.

Exactly what we needed for active cats’ engagement. It’s also very durable and holds onto the lures a lot better than them other commercially available cat toys.
