There was only one other cat rod that I would put next to it even above this, but I have not seen it in a long time and I lost mine long ago. From what I do remember, the other rod wins in length, both in rod and string, maybe by a foot. That said, this one definitely wins out on durability, hands down. Not just that it’s durable, it’s thicker, resulting in less accidental injuries to felines and humans. I

Especially with the feather teasers my cat loves this. We get in a good bit of exercise before she loses interest.

I wasn’t sure about buying these rods, but after my cats breaking three cheaper rods, I am so happy with these rods! Also the fact that string can be removed for some toys or replaced makes these rods the best!

My cat broke this in under 5 minutes of play.

really disappointed when i opened the box and saw that the feather wasn’t included
